Limit 1 essay per student. You need not be an English major to submit a paper to this contest. Essays should include a cover sheet stating the student’s name, ID number, local address and phone, the title of the essay, the course and professor for which the essay was written, and the quarter the course was offered. The essay itself should include the title, but NOT the student’s name.
The purpose of the essay contest is to stimulate creative thinking that explores how the search for extraterrestrial intelligence will affect humanity’s future. They invite essays from undergraduate students between the ages of 18 to 30. To be eligible, each applicant must be enrolled in a degree program at a qualified educational institution.
The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) invites student submissions for its Annual Undergraduate Student Essay Contest. Participants should produce original essays that highlight study abroad experiences in Latin America or the Caribbean.

Students of high schools, including undergraduate and graduate candidates, can take part in our scholarship essay contest. Send your finished essay to (email protected) with Essay Writing Contest 2020 in the email’s subject to participate. Your paper must be written in English only. Please make sure your essay contains 500-700 words.
Entrants have to complete a series of tests and quizzes, as well as submitting an application essay and personal statement. Who can enter? Brazilian engineering and natural science students, and recent graduates of an engineering, architecture or natural science degree from a Brazilian university.
